During the initial session, Dr. Kapoor will conduct an assessment of your concerns and psychological health to determine the most suitable treatment plan with your help. Collaboration is key. The assessment involves a clinical interview and completion of standardized tests.

Dr. Kapoor does not take insurance however, some health care providers will cover costs of out of network services . Please check with your insurance provider. These appeals will be the responsibility of the patient.

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. Your appointment time is reserved for you. Missed appointments or cancellations for appointments received with less than 48 hours' notice will be billed at the full session rate. Please note weekends are not included in the 48 hours.

Sessions are private and confidential; however, there are specific instances that the law requires that information is shared about you: if you are at risk of harming yourself, if you are at risk of harming others, information about child abuse or neglect, or in the event of a court order or subpoena for your records.
